Meet our animals

Picture
Hello Pumpkin!  Pumpkin is the friendliest of our new kittens but she does not like the cows. She runs and hisses at them any time they come around.  Hopefully she gets used to them.
Picture
Meet Jug!  This handsome man was just donated to us by Luke and Brittney Mutschelknaus.  He is about 1 month old and loves exploring the farm.  We are trying to raise him with Chu Dubh so the two of them can just wander around without being in a pen.  Our hope is he is the first to great you when you come and visit.
Picture
Jubilee
Jubilee is a 13 year old Jennet Donkey.  She was born on April fools day 2005. She is a very sweet and lovable girl that craves attention.  Her sister Trinket also lives at Accessible Acres. They are almost inseparable.

Picture
Fin  (Shark Fin)
Fin came to us from another rescue with his brother Moo.  They are Nubian goats. We guess his age to be about 4.  He will follow you anywhere hoping you might pull out some treats.
Picture
Patches
Patches lives here with his brother Turtle. He is very loving and loves a good neck scratch. Be careful though any article of clothing is fair game as food for him.

Picture
Prism
Prism is our first Peahen!  She was rescued in Auroa this winter.  She was found knocking on a glass door trying to get out of the cold.  She is shy but very curious about what you are doing.

Picture
Fuzzer
Fuzzer was adopted (don't tell her that) when she was 3 months old.  She was raised in the city but is starting to like the farm life.  She will follow you anywhere just to see what you are up to.

Chu Dubh

Pronounced Coo Do

Accessible Acres wild child.  She is a bit on the hyper side and a lil spazzy. Very loving and sweet dog. She is a great farm dog and helps protect all the animals here.  She grew up helping Josh (Daishas Dad) build the house at Accessible Acres.  There is not a room that she did not sleep in during the building process.

And here is a picture of Turtle 3!  Just kidding I can't get close enough to this cat to get a picture.  She wants nothing to do with humans but that's ok cause she is a working kitty out in our lean to.  And for those paying attention yes I said Turtle 3 Daisha loves the name turtle and now has had a turtle named Turtle ( Passed on) Turtle the cow, Turtle 2 the chicken and now Turtle 3 the cat.
Picture
This is Sugar. One of 3 new baby cats on the farm.  Sugar is about 3 months old and spends her days out in the lean to with her sisters Pumpkin and Turtle 3.
Picture
Trinket
Trinket is a 13 year old Jennet Donkey. She was born on April fools day 2005. She lives her with her sister Jubilee and loves your attention when you have food.  Not as social as her sister but very sweet and friendly.

Toffey
Toffey is one of 2 sheep that call Accessible Acres home.  She is very sweet and is starting to come up to you to be petted.

Picture

Popcorn
She is very sweet and curious but does not trust humans yet.  She is notorious for escaping the paddock at night.

Picture
Birds
Accessible Acres is home to many chickens and 2 ducks.  For whatever reason Daisha does not like to name her birds so only a couple have names.

Picture
Turtle
Turtle loves Daisha and comes running any time she is outside.  He is a huge teddy bear and loves to be scratched. He will also lick anything he can reach with his tongue so be ready.

Picture
Moo
Moo pictured here with his brother Fin checking out some of the toys in the pasture.  Moo is very curious and you can't do much without him standing right behind you supervising.

Picture
Mooch
This is our "Old Man". He just turned 16! He is sweet and lovable. His hobbies include sleeping and eating, in that order.  He was Daishas first dog.
Picture
Shelby
Shelby is one of our many cats.  She enjoys following you around and watching the many birds on our farm.
Picture
Daniel
Daniel is actually a girl but is named after one of our dear friends and board members Daniel Bishop.
Picture
Veronica
Veronica and Shelby are sisters.  They spend all their time together.  They are almost inseparable .
Picture
Snowball
Snowball and Daniel are sisters and Peaches is their mom.  They are trying to learn how to cat from our 2 older farm cats and are learning the ropes quick.
Picture
Bonnie
Bonnie came to us from another rescue.  She is very sweet and spends all her time hanging out in the pasture with Bella.
Picture
Bella
Bella Spends her days hanging out in the pasture with her bestie.  She's very sweet but likes to be left alone unless you have food, then she won't leave you alone!
